I know the holidays can be hard for a lot of people. The memories, the empty chairs, and the struggles feel louder this time of year. They all seem to show up at once.
From now until Christmas, CEW1775 is doing 12 Days of Christmas. Each day, we’ll share something we’re grateful for.
Day 2
For the most part, I’m grateful that our country has learned the importance of supporting our veterans. We’ve made progress—and that matters.
But we also know we can still do better. Too many veterans are still fighting silent battles long after the uniform comes off. That’s exactly why CEW1775 exists. It aims to break the stigma. It fights against isolation. It also reminds our veterans and their families that laughter, connection, and community can be powerful tools for healing.
We believe in healing through laughter. We believe in showing up for one another. We ensure no one feels alone in the fight.
Grateful for how far we’ve come. Committed to doing better—together.
